A lighter financial burden allows me to focus on learning. I love it at Mizzou and couldn't be happier. It ensures Jillian's memory will never be forgotten.

Kara Lovelace, 2019 Recipient

The scholarship changed everything—my life would be so different without it. Jill would be proud of us all!

Cody Shaw, Inaugural 2013 Recipient

The Jillian Young Scholarship

These aren't just checks; they're confidence boosters, dream chasers, and "you got this" high-fives. Our recipients? They're family now—sharing wins, tackling hurdles, and proving that one act of kindness ripples forever.

Since 2013, we've empowered 16 incredible students (and counting) from the Elsberry, Missouri area to launch their college careers at the University of Missouri in fields like engineering, science, firefighting, and beyond. From Mizzou's ag labs to event-planning powerhouses, these grads are out there turning "what if" into "watch this."
